Shantel Noel is a Marketing & Communications professional from Toronto, Canada and one of the newest additions to the Spotify Canada team. 

She acquired a strong following for her work within the music industry as an Artist Liaison for October’s Very Own (OVO) Fest, an annual festival created by Grammy-Award winning, platinum-selling recording artist, Drake. The festival headlines some of the largest artists in the industry such as the legendary Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z, Outkast, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and many more. 

She previously wrote for SaintHeron.com–a Music, Art & Culture platform founded by Solange Knowles. Her work has also appeared on OkayAfrica. She got her start writing for HustleGrl.com and to date she has interviewed both underground artists and celebrity socialites such as Trey Songz, T.I., Diana Gordon, Tinashe, Jazmine Sullivan and PJ Morton of the pop-rock band, Maroon 5. Shantel has also worked closely with various brands like Nike Toronto and Bumble on global campaigns. 

In addition to her work, Shantel mentors youth and facilitates various community based workshops. She has worked with the University of Toronto's Black Student Association (BSA)Pathways To Healthy Life Choices (PHLC), If I Ruled T.O. youth conference and BrandedTO
